Hello :) I’m Grant. I’m a writer and artist working and living in Portland, Oregon.
I like storytelling and exploring how we function in language. I write poetry, fiction, and copy.
I’m experienced in short and long-form. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the University of Colorado, Intel, Windows, AMD, and PCI-SIG. I have experience establishing a writing discipline, managing other writers and collaborating cross functionally. I work closely with clients, designers, and account managers to tell compelling brand stories.
My first full-length collection of poetry, Service, was published in 2017 by Tupelo Press. I’m currently working on a sci-fi novel and other collections of poetry.
My writing has appeared in the Boston Review, LARB, Paperbag Magazine, Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, OmniVerse, and Jubilat and was awarded by the Academy of American Poets.
I’m also a teacher. I designed and taught the class Writing for Popular Culture at CU Boulder.
I’m also a learner. I’m always looking for opportunities. You can reach me via email.
